Shearwater
This is an old run down property on Post Office lane in Rhosneigr. It was bought by our clients in 2008.
The existing property was in poor condition and following discussions with our clients we set about transforming the site and creating a contemporary beach house with a twist.
The property now known as Shearwater is also featured in the February 2011 SelfBuild & Design magazine.

The proposed design had to ensure that there would be no additional over shadowing on the adjacent properties whilst maximising use of the fairly small site. The eventual design has multi level roofs and open plan living at first floor level with 2 large bedrooms luxury Bathroom and wet rooms on the ground floor.
The property is a highly insulated timber frame construction with the heating being produced via an ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) driving underfloor heating on the ground floor and a couple of radiators on the upper floor. All in all a spectacular property which from the outside belies the spacious interior, which is finished to a very high standard.
