Formed in 1993 by Nigel Marland and Adrian Williamson, WM Design & Architecture is an Anglesey based CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists) practice. All our work is a result of referrals and good client references, and we actively promote a close working relationship with our clients and consultants. We have excellent local knowledge and contacts and an impressive and broad-ranging portfolio of projects throughout North Wales and the North West in both the commercial and domestic sectors. We are currently working on a residential development for Chowriopa Construction PV in Goa, India. Our commercial experience includes design and development for NHS Trusts, Local Health Boards
We are experienced in producing and handling Planning and Building Control applications and seeing them through to a successful consent. Crucially we have close ties with specialist Planning Consultants for more difficult Planning enquiries and appeals.
We have a good relationship with the Local Authorities and can often enable clients to understand why a previously presented scheme is failing and how it might be helped through to approval. In recent years we have partnered with Gwynedd County Council Building Control Department which assures our clients the very best service possible. From Structural Engineers to Quantity Surveyors, we only use experienced specialists; people we are comfortable working with and with whom have a good rapport. We've done the legwork so you can be confident you'll benefit from their services. Our founding expertise was gained in alterations and adaptation schemes to existing properties, with a particular need to be sensitive to their existing environments and promote maximum sustainability. We can offer specialist knowledge for Listed Building Consent and conservation work.
